The Early Days
In its present form, Owls Hall Environmental is a young company but it orginated as a traditional farm and grew to become the significant liimited company it is today. Owls Hall Environmental was started in 1976 by Henry Finbow as Owls Hall Farm. The company has successfully expanded its operation from agricultural drainage from water course ways, earth moving and various drainage systems to modern sewage treatment systems specialist and drainage contracting works.
A New Focus to Owls Hall Growth
In 1989, Craig Finbow joined the company as Managing Director. His strong management skills and entrepreneurial approach elevated Owls Hall from a local business to an established brand name in wastewater and drainage industry. He expanded the business through creation of a new customer focus business model covering customer service, communications, and support and timeline deliveries.
In 2002, the company was changed from a family owned business to specialist sewage treatment and drainage contractors. The company got registered under the brand name of Owls Hall Environmental. With renewed focus, Owls Hall Environmental entered the civil engineering and environmental engineering works. It acquired its first project work from Balfour Beatty one of the biggest names in the construction industry.
Today, the company has established its strong presence in both the domestic and commercial markets and it undertakes major commercial projects with construction giants like Balfour Beatty, Costain, Carillion, Skanska and Government bodies. It has expanded its services from installing off mains and pollution control products to undertaking drainage and environmental engineering work for major infrastructure development projects like the M25, Olympics etc.
